Bravo Theatre Group is a not-for-profit 501c(3) community theatre organization dedicated to producing quality, affordable and professional musical theatre productions to benefit local charities. Founded in 1999, BTG has produced ten shows and donated over $30,000 in proceeds to a number of local organizations including: the Cystic Fibrosis and Make-A-Wish Foundations, S.T.A.R. Peds, B-Positive Inc., the Wishing Well Foundation, the Spina Bifida Association, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Our History
1999
Founded in February by Sanjay Shastri & Michael Winter. Original board members included Sanjay, Mike, Jay Shastri, Marlowe Valdeabella, Holly Stackle, Tod Stewart, Jo Anne Smiley, and Diana Krueger.
Obtained official 501c(3) not-for-profit status in July.
Presented "Crazy for You" featuring Benji Newmark & Tara Siesener at St. Louis University Xavier Hall Theatre in August to benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

2000
Presented "The Music Man" featuring Gerry Love and Sharen Camille at St. Louis University Xavier Hall Theater in July to benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation.


2001
Presented "George M!" featuring Ben Newmark at Ladue High School Theatre in July to benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Joel Hackbarth joins the Board of Directors.
Presented Broadway Musical Revue at Lindbergh High School Theatre in November to benefit S.T.A.R. Peds.

2002
Bravo adds Tod Maltzman, Sue Stippec, Ann Rice and Inez Pace to the Board of Directors.
Presented "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at Ladue High School Theatre in July to benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

2003
Presented "Romantic Notions - A Musical Revue" at Rockwood Summit High School Theatre in February to benefit B Positive Inc.
Presented "Footloose the Musical" at Lindbergh High School in July to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Wishing Well Foundation.

2004
Bravo presented it's first Bravo Buddies show "How to Eat Like a Child" at Bishop DuBourg High School Theatre in April to benefit the Spina Bifida Association.
Mike Joerling joins the Board of Directors.
Presented "Damn Yankees" at Ladue High School Theatre in July to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis and Wishing Well Foundations.

2006
Presented "42nd Street" at the Gundaker Theatre (CBC High School) in July to benefit the Gateway Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Show was delayed by one weekend as a result of massive power outages.

2007
Presented "Godspell" at Christ Memorial Lutheral Church in July to again benefit the Gateway Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Christina Joerling joins the Board of Directors.

2008
Paula Dean joins the Board of Directors.
Cristina Alfonso joins the B

Yvonne Meyer-Hare joins the Board of Directors.
Presenting "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" at Florissant Community Center Theatre in August (Charity TBD)
